First Steps
The Plant Center interface
This is where everything related to your plants is happening. You
can find out how many plants you have at the moment, get a quick
overview of the plants and do the most basic actions with just one
click.
Planting your first weed
This should be your first step in the game. By going to the Plant
Center you'll see a notice saying you don't have any plants. So
let's plant some. Be aware though, you need energy to plant weed.
Each one costs one energy.
How much water your plant has.
How much fertilizer your plant has.
If this reaches a certain level, your plant is dead. It varies how much a plant can take of this.
The ripe cycle tells you when your plant is going to start produce more THC.
Bonus points, energy and stamina
The relationship between these three values is as follows:
Bonus points can be exchanged to get additional energy or stamina points.
Energy points are used for most plant-related actions in the game.
Stamina points are used for getting high or participating in other activities in the game.
How to get more bonus points
The only way to get more bonus points is to level up. If you gain enough experience you'll automatically level up. You can get experience by geting a plant, keeping it in a good condition and harvesting it. You'll receive 1 experience point for every 100g of weed you harvest and 2 experience for every 100g of hasis you harvest.
You also receive experience for just planting, watering or adding fertilizer to a plant, writing in the Forum, selling something on the Marketplace, smoking or participating in a Clan War.
Watering, adding fertilizer and harvesting a plant
Your plants have various needs for water and fertilizer. You can tell if the settings of your plant are optimal as it will appear with a green background and a tick next to the water and the fertilizer icon. Yellow means that something is not optimal, either the water or the fertilizer. Orange means that your plant is really old and will die soon and by each cycle it will receive a negative point. Once it dies, the background changes to gray, which means the plant is not producing any more weed.
You can harvest from your plant any time you feel like, but its usually best to wait as long as you can, as the THC concentration is highest by the end of the lifetime.
The Storage interface
To be able to harvest you need to store your stash in something. You
can buy either nickelbags, that can store up to 15g, dimebags that
can store 300g or a sack that holds 1500g. But be careful, if you
harvest your weed and just have it laying around its quality will
start to fade away with time! It's best to either smoke it or sell
while the quality is good.
The Shop interface
That is your friendly local Jamaican grower shop where you can buy
the essentials to get started.

Smoking
Smoking in WeedFactory serves many purposes (just like it does
outside of it). You need some harvested weed and something to smoke
it with to get started. By smoking, you'll restore some of your
energy but at the same time it reduces your stamina! Also, while
you're getting stoned, your friends sometimes like to leave stuff
behind, such as special seeds or fun smoking inventories! So keep
the bong going!
The Marketplace
The marketplace is an anything goes local market where you can sell
your plants, storages or lamps to the fellow growers in the game. It
is up to you what price you ask for your stash.
The Weed Exchange
The weed exchange is the general market for weed out there. The
price is determined by how much of the weed you are trying to sell
been sold the past week. If the market is overrun by a certain type
if weed its price plummets! Keep an eye out of whats hot and don't
hesitate to sell your stash when the time is right!
Lamps
Most of the plants also require certain amount of light. This is
something that you won't be able to tell from the Plant Center, as
your plants might still be growing OK without lamps. You have to
read up manually on the type of weed you are growing and making sure
the plants have adequate amount of light! That is part of becoming a
pro gardener after all.
By putting multiple plants under a single lamp you can change their setting with a single click.

Clans
So
you have planted all your weed and still have time to kill? Or you
need help? Or you want to get your friends together? Join a Clan!
Clans are special groups inside WeedFactory who are allowed to send
each other money and have their own Forum and Chat rooms. There is
basically only one way to get into a Clan – when they get you
in. You can ask in the Forums to become part of a Clan but be aware,
other Clans might get you first! By being in the outer-circle of a
Clan you have to pay a certain portion of your income to the Clan.
It's a dangerous business after all.
Get owned in a Clan War!
If you are actually in a Clan, you can earn your way into the inner-circle by participating in Clan Wars, which are usually to recruit new outer-circle members to the Clan. More often than not it is actually happening between Clans so there is room for excitement in it. The defender clan always have the advantage of 2:1.
Forum and Chat
There is also a Forum and a Chat available that you can use to get extra information or just to get to know your peers in the game.
